The idea of being sent to a 'straight camp' for the entire summer sounded absurd. Nothing about it made the slightest bit of sense to me. And it looked like any other summer camp; a bunch of uncomfortable-looking teenagers standing with one or both of their parents, people I assumed were in charge talking to them. My parents wouldn't let me say anything as they willingly handed over my information to the stranger in a blue shirt. They promised me I would thank them, told me I would be grateful once the summer was over. I never would have thought for a second that they would have been right, but it turns out, this was exactly what not only I needed, but what everyone involved needed. And I would thank my parents, had they known what they really signed me up for.

I have found that there aren't many Camp Camp one shots books on here so I decided to make one. (Little note, lots of these are old and kinda bad so like yeah) Anyway, enjoy. (hopefully)

A jaded tyke who is now 11 years old as a year has passed since summer, and for Max- this summer has already had a rough start.. This story begins one week before going back to Camp Campbell after the summer. [ WARNING: ABUSE IS HEAVILY INVOLVED! Nathan wasn't very keen on the idea of spending his whole summer at some sort of camp. His parents on the other hand, thought it was necessary. Thinking It was going to be the worst part of his life, Nate had quite the negative look on all of it until he met people who will later on become some of his closest friends. Along with an unexpected spike in his love life, he came to learn a lot about himself. Agreeing, that not everything has to be so bad. Ongoing!
