Y/n lived in Auradon until she was five because after befriending Prince Ben his father, the king, finally sent her away because his son had a "crush" on her. Prince Ben was told his friend was going to an elite boarding school when in reality the child was sent to the Isle. Y/n's mother was sentenced to her death for a murder she didn't commit. Through the years that pass they never meet. Y/n is left alone watching him forget her from afar.

For as long as Ben could remember he had dreams of the Isle, more specifically, dreams of a girl close in his age. The horrors she had to face in her life when he could sense she was pure of heart. What Ben didn't know was how he was connected to the girl or why the dreams stopped after his coronation. He assumed it was because he'd done well and her life was better now. When Mal first relapsed and went back to the Isle the dreams started again. It seemed his choice to pick the Vks effected the rest of the children badly.

He offers the children of all the villains Evie picked their invitation to Auradon but only 30% come. He finds him and his family trapped on the Isle with every villain that wants there heads.
