Ever since they lost their parents they've been running, never staying in one place to long.
Lately Touka has been reckless, staying in places longer than she used to.
Could it be that she's slowly realising that there isn't a place in this world for people like her. Or could it be because of a certain shy quite boy who knows all her secrets but still smiles at her.

The area of Tokyo be lived in had very few if any ghoul attacks. His view on them changed over time as he'd be rescued by one on his way back from a store.
