Tessa Rayes is your typical tomboy, she plays football, hangs out with boys, and dresses like a boy. She never see's any reason that she would be more than a tomboy, until her life starts to fall apart in fifth grade. Suddenly, she finds herself second-guessing everything she's ever known, including, her friendships, her feelings, and most importantly, herself, as her life starts to close in around. Tormented by peers and family alike, will she have the strength to find her true self? Or will she be crushed?
