The Days Not To Miss

Soft cries echoed through the corridors, while heavy footsteps led themselves to a small dark room at the end of the hall, where the soft cries began. The footsteps softened as they reached the low, cold bed with a small frail female figure upon it. Little sounds of drips pierced the air like knives. The tall man looked down at the girl's body, her wrists were dripping little specs of blood every once in awhile. Her cries softened as she looked up at the man, towering over her with a disappointed look. "You were once my sister." He sighed and walked away. Her tears streamed down more as she pressed down onto the bleeding slits, pressing more out. Her eyes fluttered closed and her breathing slowed, she soon passed out.
