Football player Bishop Cade is on the right track to making all of his dreams come true. University scouts are after him, along with St. Branton High School's teen population. What no one knows though, is Cade has a lot more going on in his life. He makes his own money to support himself and his mother, and in order to do that, he's forced to run an operation his father was apart of before his death. Klara Martell is well-aware of Bishop Cade. She's hard-shelled and has 0 tolerance for more than half of the students at her dumb school. After years of being bullied and tortured for being over-weight, Klara's idea of the world had seriously rotted. Can she accept Bishop's interest in her? Or will her past put a halt to everything before it starts.

Destiny never thought she'd end up tangled in Cam Cade's world. He was her best friend-the one who knew her laugh, her late-night secrets, her fears she never said out loud. But somewhere between sneaking into after-parties and helping him patch up his busted knuckles, the lines blurred. "Come on, Des," Cam grinned, leaning against the wall with that reckless confidence only he could pull off. His shirt clung to his chest, damp from the night's chaos. "Don't tell me you're scared." I rolled my eyes, but my heart wasn't listening. It hammered against my ribs, traitorous, every time his gaze locked with mine. Scared? Of him? Please. Okay... maybe a little. Because I wasn't scared of what he'd do. I was scared of what I wanted him to do. And he knew it. The thing about Cam Cade was, he never played fair. He leaned in close, his breath ghosting over my ear, sending shivers straight down my spine. "You trust me, right?" I hated the way my knees weakened at just two words. I hated the way my skin burned for more. We weren't supposed to be more. We weren't supposed to be anything but friends. But tell that to the way his lips lingered just a heartbeat too close to mine. Tell that to the way his hands brushed against me like a spark looking for gasoline. Tell that to my heart-because it already belonged to him.
