When a tragedy strikes 16 year old Lucy Polo, she is forced to spend the summer in California with her chill uncle and his sweet girlfriend. Having to leave all her friends and rest of her family behind, Lucy has to find a way to survive the summer abroad. However, things change when she meets 17-year-old Luke Hemmings, a famous band member trying to escape from the craziness of fame by blending in with the crowd.
