The winter this year is cold, long, and harsher than usual. It already set in before the second moon joined his sister in the sky. During one of those frigid nights, Ninian gets an unusual visitor: a large white wolf who calls himself Shade. The wolf tells him of a looming danger, a conflict between the Children of Winter and the Daughters of the Sun, and how the Blue City needs him once again. But everyone knows you should never follow a creature seen in your dreams, right? So what if it starts to seem like this "dream" may not quite be a dream at all? What if you have no choice but follow the creature to wherever it might lead you? Ninian is confronted with this choice. No matter his decisions, his actions will have consequences for the better... or the worse.

There was a Spirit. A Spirit Wolf to be exact. She had fluffy white fur, and some parts as inside her ears, her paws, and her eyes glowed.This particular Spirit preferred to be alone. She did not like company. Only 2 years ago a raven wouldn't stop bothering her. Surprisingly, this bird became her beloved companion. He helps her with her job as a spirit-and distracts her at times. The Spirit Wolf's job is to bring life and to pass life. Bringing life is to help plants grow and to watch over all of the new mothers in spring. To pass life means to let a corpse sink into the ground and become one with earth itself. If the creature that passed had a good life, the Spirit would put them into the afterlife. If they died a very unfair death or was too young for their life to be over, she would help them reincarnate. She could not reincarnate a creature every time it was killed, though. It would only make them have infinite lives. The Spirit Wolf seemed unhappy when she did her job, but she enjoyed seeing the faces of pure happiness of the new mothers. To summarize her duty, she needs to keep the law of nature in order. Even though she despises humans, she helps them too.Zakończone

A moment passes and it feels as though the shadows part to reveal an invisible string tying us together. Just as the mating bond snaps into place.
