A girl wanders through the forest, disowned by her family, cast out of her village, left to wander aimlessly on her own until she dies or finds someone kind enough to take her in. Weeks later, lost, cold, tired, and alone, she stumbles upon a small cottage. Could its inhabitants be the key to finding her lost and forgotten life, or by stepping through the door has she put herself in the middle of a nations-wide centuries-long battle for an all-but-forgotten prize?

Not sure how but they vanished and so here is the new description... All of this story is my own work, stemming from a short story I wrote for a fb game competition back in 2011 which is the only story that should have similarities! Some chapters have had a little editing done but most are still in their original form.
