Redback spiders are close cousins to the Black Widows nearly as dangerous but less known. That's how it is for the second graduate of the Black Widow program, a younger girl that has completed training is known as The Redback. She however prefers her work kept secret, her skills under lock and key, and her identity harder to find then two snowflakes with the same pattern. She is always in Black Widow's shadow yet she is equal to if not more dangerous. She enjoys being underestimated and easy to look over, it makes her job easier. Always has and always will.
But when the program is destroyed by its first success and her files are found but her identity is still hidden she will do everything in her power to survive. After all Redback Spiders are known to hide in the colder and darker areas. She was made to hide and kill when she must.
So just like her namesake, she will hide in the shadows. She will calculate everything she must.
And she will survive.

Annika grew up in the mysterious Red Room, the place where the all so famous Natasha Romanoff got trained. Except, back in Russia, she is known by a different name. Natalia Alianovna, one of the most successful assassins the Red Room ever had. One of the few to gain the title, Black Widow, from graduating from the Red Room. But she left that life behind, going to America, and becoming a 'Avenger'. Only problem is, the people who trained her want her back. And they will take whatever they have to. Here is where Annika comes in. She is the youngest girl ever to graduate from the Red room at the young age of thirteen. As a baby, she was found left by the gates of the building, abandoned. Left with only a first name, they decided to take her in. She grew up there, starting her training much younger than the six year olds that are dropped off. With that start, and simply never knowing anything else, made her much more dangerous than any other girl there. She started missions at six, being able to do more damage because of her younger age. They found another mission for her, one that was unique from all of her others. She had to befriend the young Spider-Man, and get him to show her the other Avengers. So she could bring the older Black Widow home. Part 2: Annika and Peter are headed off for an eventful year at MIT college, trying to live life to the absolute fullest when strange things start happening around the school. How will the two young Superhero's deal with this problem as well as pass their finals? AN: Okay, so I'm gonna say it now, before the story even starts. I am making a separate universe. I won't lie to you, I hated how Infinity War and Endgame went. So, something happened to Thanos after Age of Ultron, like he got murdered by somebody. So that threat just won't come anymore. They went from psycologically controling these girls, to full on mind controlling them. Training them to be assassians for one person to be in 'control' of the world. They take their childhoods from them, they take their emotions, and most importantly they take their free will. Natasha Romanoff got out. She became an Avenger. She became more then the assassian they made her. Never looking back. At least not after she thought she destroyed the Red Room. But she didn't really destroy it. And when she left, she left her two "sisters" behind. "Twins". When they were younger, they were all part of a "family". Undercover, as the two older agents with them were there to steal something. The mission lasted 3 years. Natasha knew it was fake. But the 6 year old Yelena Belova and Olesya Aleksandrovna, they didn't know. So they got thrown into the Red Room. Not a clue in the world as to what was going on. "Mother" probably dead from a gunshot wound. "Father" watching as they were taken away. "Older Sister" trying to save them, but failing in the end. So they spent the next 21 years, mind controlled. Forced to be assassians. No freewill. That is, until an older widow, cracks the serum. Finds a way to get the girls their minds back.
