I went downstairs searching for a answer to what my ears just heard. My heart raced as I took each step. soon only to see a man in all black standing fighting with Brooklyn on the floor. Then, before anything. BAM! Another gun shot went off right in front of me. I had no Idea what just happened. I screamed and the man realized what he did so he dropped the gun and ran . On his way out he crashed into the wall the crawled out the door. I quickly turned on the light and ran over to Brooklyn. Blood gushing out his head.I grabbed the phone from the couch then I was on the phone with 911. It rang then a Lady was on the phone. "Hello 911, what's your emergency?" "Please help me. -Let's get this straight. "Treasure what're you doing awake by this time". I heard my mum voice trailing behind. I shivered,I knew perfectly the rules of not being awake by this time. I would only get scolded at and maybe my phone seized. But it's not really my fault for wanting a distraction from my messy life. I just couldn't take it anymore,I was tired of thinking of my life I was tired of blaming God for the circumstances before me. Sometimes I feel like a burden and sometimes I wished I was never born. Life is cruel and learning from you mistakes doesn't count anymore. I have been told about how things would be fine by my mates. Encouraging words to keep me going, but it's simply not working.
