Kagome Higurashi had just kept running. She ran from her enemies in the past, she ran when reality smacked her in the face when the well closed. She was tired of running, but she didn't want to stagnate in the shrine. So she's staying with her cousin, Takeru Fujiwara, and hoped to lay down her roots in a place where her demons can't reach her.
