Agent Macey Chase trained, she trained hard. Her every move is a result of strategy and skill, because she lost her identity as just 'Macey' when she was 12. She was manipulated into joining the world's biggest protection agency at a young age and now, she feels like her job is her only purpose in life. She feels like her life isn't anything more than a sacrifice for the safety of others. But it doesn't matter how she feels, because things as unimportant and irrelevant as feelings shouldn't matter to a seventeen year old spy.
Tech Carson Asa loves his job. He loves codes, he loves programmes, he loves working for the world's biggest protection agency. He loves having company as well, but that's one thing he doesn't have. So he doesn't let himself feel lonely, instead he tries being happy. He lets out the worst jokes and always has a bright smile plastered to his face. Only, not everyone knows what goes on in this nineteen year old's head underneath his messy brown hair and standard black beanie.
When Tech Asa is assigned to Agent Chase and they encounter Christian, a man who acts as the direction to a path filled with uncertainty and risk to end the biggest illegal industry thriving in California, Macey realises that the world is darker than she ever thought it was. She also realises that in a world so dark, the only source of light is love. But will she allow herself to step into the light?
So, I obviously suck at descriptions, but please don't let that stop you from reading XD. I love this book with my whole heart and I hope you give it a chance and enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. ~ beautifulineligancy

Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem.
