Sometimes Kakashi doesn't know where he really is. That's fine. It doesn't stop him from defending his three new precious people in this diverse, chaotic world he finds himself in.

Ace, Sabo, and Luffy aren't /perfect/, no, not at all. But they fill the void in his heart that was torn open when he first realized he was alone.

Alone feeling he /didn't/ belong in this strange, new world, even if he now technically did.

Reincarnation screws you over like that, he mused. 

Kakashi sighed. He was a child again. He was initially going to join the marines, but it seems his brothers insist on being on the other side of the law. 

It'll be a different Road of Life that Kakashi isn't used to, he knows. He is also bound to get hopelessly lost upon it. Don't worry though, he's a genius ninja. He'll get over it and protect his brothers (though probably mostly Luffy) and if he didn't already have silver locks, he'd say he'd be growing gray hairs as soon as he reached ten years old.
