'You guys are wimps,' Estelle smirks, her dark hair fluttering in the cold breeze that stings our faces. 'Relax, won't you? After all... it's just murder.'

'Right,' says Zariah sarcastically, unconvinced, and adjusts her bow more securely onto her shoulder.

-

When five campers enroll into Camp Haven, their expectations for the summer couldn't be any farther from peaceful and fun. Estelle Blair is only attending the camp to get away from her family and gain some information on a few of the campers 'for fun'- but mostly because a few of the students are her father's business rivals' kids. She decides to find out everything she can about every camper- only to find that someone is already watching their every move.

Zariah Raven attended Camp Haven since five-six years old, like the others. She is also, an orphan. Given credit to actually choose her own name, blessed, and got adopted, blessed. But this year. Someone new got adopted. His name is Lloyd Casey. And he also attended camp. But the main reason Zariah is here. Is because she actually wanted to be there, to escape from her school's summer detention (probably).

Iclyn Oakley has been from place to place and can never completely settle down. She's finally getting together with all of her old friends again, however, so that's definitely a bonus.

Aleen Kayla Hamilton had been at camp haven for as long as she could remember, but this year would be different, main reason she's there this time is to 'have fun' and escape from school and family, meeting old friends as always an extra bonus.

A nice summer would have laid ahead of them if it weren't for the fact that someone just got murdered at camp...

"How do you feel now, Morgan?" She says, more pointing something out than asking a question. She grabs hold of my wrists and tightens them. If I could see properly I could swear I see them turn purple. "I could beat you to the bone, right here, right now, till you die from your injuries. But, I won't. You will die. Maybe not today, maybe not in a month, but you will." Well, obviously I'm going to die. Humans don't live forever. "Wonder why?" "No, and I really don't care." She answers anyway. "Because we have the power, the people, and the weapons to do it. Face it, you're defenseless against us." I feel some blood flooding my mouth, so I, being a perfectly nice person, spit it in her face. That doesn't faze her at all. "I have the strength and intelligence, something you clearly don't have. Whatever y'all do to me, it won't break me. I will put up a hell of a fight before losing. I will fight, and I will win." I turn over and look at her fellow companions. "Even if I die doing it." "Is that a risk you're willing to take?" ____________________________________ 17 year old Morgan Peters is an average girl living life. Sacred Ground by Sabrina_Giuseppe
7 parts Complete Mature
Book 1 in the Sacred Bonds series. There are two kinds of scars on a man. The ones you can see, etched into skin by the Texas sun, and the ones you can't; the kind carved into a twelve-year-old boy watching his legacy get stolen at the barrel of a smile. For AZAD MARTINEZ, the memory is a film reel that never stops playing. The day his father was laid in the ground, his uncle, MALIK MARTINEZ, arrived to deliver his first lesson in family: it's a weakness. He threw Azad and his grieving mother out of their own home, the only home they'd ever known, the very dirt his father had sworn was a sacred trust. But Malik didn't just take the land. As a final, calculated act of cruelty, he took Azad's older brother, ZAYAN, dragging him away to be remade in his own corrupted image. Now, years later, the echoes of that day have become a relentless soundtrack. Azad has built a new empire from nothing, a legitimate agricultural powerhouse, but every success is shadowed by the ghost of what was stolen and the sound of his mother crying in the next room, her tears a silent prayer for the son she couldn't protect, begging for a forgiveness only God and his return can grant. But Malik isn't finished teaching lessons. He's back with a contract, wielding a forgotten debt from Azad's father like a holy writ. He offers a choice that is no choice at all, a move designed to break Azad's spirit completely and claim his hard-won empire. This is where the real war begins. This is a halal romance, a journey deep into the heart of what it means to love under the weight of duty, to seek revenge without losing your soul, and to find the impossible path to forgiveness when the wound is the only thing that reminds you you're still alive. This is a story of one man standing on the land he built, forced to choose between the vengeance that fuels him and the faith that could save him, all while the ghost of his brother and the cries of his mother threaten to pull his world apart at the seams.

"You were ours the moment I laid eyes on you," he stated, his voice low and commanding, the kind of certainty that left no room for doubt. His gaze bore into me, as if claiming me without a single word more. The truth was, I didn't need to argue or question him, because deep down, I knew he was right. I was theirs. My body, my mind, everything about me had already been marked-consumed by them the instant our paths crossed. - Zarina never imagined her life tangling with the underworld, let alone with three of its most dangerous men. One moment, she's balancing college and a barista job. The next, she's stepping into a world where control is absolute, pleasure is edged with pain, and submission is anything but weakness. Xavier Bianchi, Kieran Sullivan, and Grayden Reznov-ruthless, dominant, and accustomed to getting what they want. And now, they want her. Her world shifts the moment she enters Crimson Abyss, New York City's most exclusive and decadent club. A place where power and desire blur, where surrender is not just given-it's taken. Every glance, every touch, every command pulls her deeper, testing limits she never knew she had. Here, trust is dangerous, control is intoxicating, and once she gives in... there's no turning back. - "Is this body aching for our touch?" His voice was thick with desire, low and possessive. He leaned in, his breath hot against my skin as his fingers brushed dangerously close to where I craved it most. "Do you want us to make you beg for release? Tell me, baby. I can make you feel everything you've been dying for." - This story contains mature themes, including BDSM, dominance, power struggles, and dark romance. It features explicit content, power imbalances, and potentially triggering themes like violence, control, and morally complex characters. This is a work of fiction for adult audiences. My heart beat was racing his and each breath he took sent electricity all over my body. I bit my tongue, scared of what my brain could make me say. He moved back to stare into my eyes, wanting to see his effect on me but I didn't give it to him. I smirked, pushed my chin down and looked up at him.
