We sat in a short moment of silence, despite Leafpool's shocked, ragged breaths when she almost fell off the cliff. I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to tell her. I took in a deep breath, and looked her determinedly in her eyes. She looked as determined as I was, and I swallowed the lump in my throat. "You walk in my dreams, Leafpool," I muttered softly. My eyes were sincere, true of my word. "I-I shocked myself for loving another cat so soon after Feathertail's death, but I love you, Leafpool."

Crowfeather's love for Feathertail was strong. He loved her deeply, until a terrible tragedy happened, leaving Crowfeather heartbroken and traumatised as he thought it was his fault. That was, until he met a calm, understanding medicine cat called Leafpool-who fixed his broken heart. ♡All Rights Reserved
