Well, until scientists proved that the world will end in 3 months due to all the pollution and climate change. Now Ellie actually cares about the world because she doesn't want to die.
Let's say scientists also found something else. A new planet to live on that is safe for humans but there might already be life on that planet.
Ellie wants to live on that planet but they have to take a test, and pay a lot of money.
Will Ellie be able to live her life in peace or will she die in 3 months?
