In the kingdom of Arendelle, a boy wielding the power of winter awaits his coronation as king. But to an unfortunate event involving his supernatural powers, his parents isolated him from the world fearing that the prince would endanger everyone.

A shy peasant girl carrying a basket of flowers encounters the young prince and manages to break through his cold exterior. But as the years pass, they take their separate ways causing the prince to revert back into his reclusive self.
