The main character, Rosa, is going through what most 6th graders go through, their first crush. But there's one problem. Another girl, a popular girl named Cara also likes him. Who will win Sean? Will the smart, shy Rosa go with Sean to the dance? Or will Cara's popularity beat her to it?
