They say that life is a circle of happiness and sadness, of good times and bad times... Sam just keeps on wondering why his own circle of life stays stuck in the sadness stage....
Struggling to find the true meaning of his existence, and maybe peace from a traumatic childhood, he can at least count on his older brother, Jesse, his total opposite: married, lieutenant in the police department, loved and respected, everything seems to work out just fine for his older sibling. Or is it?
Life's trials keep on surprising the two brothers... in such ways, that both of them might not be able to get back up on their feet again...
And when things couldn't get any worse, a mysterious murder case starts to get very much personal to them...

This was first thought and written as a fan fiction with Michael as Jesse, and Sebastian Stan as Sam (just think of them as acting out the roles, plus their description in the book doesn't change from their actual appearances). I chose to not use their name, to allow anybody not interested in fan fiction to get into the story anyway... but it can still be thought as one!
