An ode to the ideas of a friend that I found the energy to expand upon in the sleepless hours of a Friday night. I have no plans to continue this story, but I might reconsider if I find motivation enough to continue it and alter it from the original concept. Key word being might, of course. As for the content, prepare yourself for an inexplicable short of a survival story leaving more questions than answers, and answers without questions.
This is the first five chapters of my novel Advanced Sublunary: Inception, enjoy. Please leave me feedback, and download on Amazon/kindle
Sean is a twenty year old college student who is having one or the worst days ever: tension with his step dad, the stress of basketball tryouts and failing grades are just the beginning. The country is also in the midst of going to war with rival countries over what appears to be nonsense. He decides to go to a friends house to unwind and play video games. Their relaxation quickly turns frantic when unexplained explosions rock the neighborhood. A phone call from his friends dad who is stationed on a military base turns weird when he demands for them to get down into a unfinished bunker for safety. After spending days inside, they emerge from the bunker and quickly find out that the world is a different place. It is evident that a war has started but, they can not listen to what so-called leaders of the world have told them. they find out they have to survive on their own, where it seems like it's every man for themselves. It is now a new world, an advanced sublunary. This is inception.
