Všechno se začalo odehrávat ve městě jménem Detroit. Roku 2038 se na trhy dostalo více androidů než doposud. Měli různé zaměstnání. Začali brát lidem práci, ti se pak bouřili na náměstích s cedulemi s protiandroidími slogany. Ale to byl jen začátek. V určitém androidu se našla závada v programu. Místo běžné práce detektiva se z něj stal zabiják. Lidé pomalu začínali mizet bez povšimnutí a ostatní se začínali bát o své životy, protože věděli, že si pro někoho z nich přijde. Dřív nebo později.

Ale co když si vzpomene na svou minulost? Co když si vzpomene na to, čím byl nebo se objeví někdo, kdo mu pomůže si vzpomenout?
