Lailani grew up in a comfortable home, where she has a older brother (Marcus) and a current 2 month baby brother. Her mother (Tracey) who is an elementary school teacher in their home state of New Jersey. While her father is a retired military vet, who currently has his own business in the city about 10 miles from their home. Lailani has two degrees for either hair or just a teacher. But she sick's with modeling because it gives her a spark in life. One day while attending a meeting with her maybe new manager she bumps into a guy ( Carter ). The guy that has the whole city either afraid of him or they just know of his name. But since she not from this part of time specifically she doesn't know about this, and goes about her day not thinking anything of it.
