Even angels have a dark side...

A fallen angel whose dark feathers are gathering in piles at his feet is trying to earn his white ones back, but a archangel by the name of Gabriel isn't going to let that happen so easily.  

Fallen angels or 'Fallens as they are known, have only a short time before there wings fall out forever, leaving them stranded on earth, only to become humans once more. If they are decent people, they may be accepted back up stairs with open arms, but unable to grow wings..If they fail as humans, they are sentenced down below..

Only the archangels have the magic touch, or powers, to give fallens the ability to fly again or any other quality they possessed before. Depending on the angel, he can give them powers for a day, or a few short hours. Though, its a dangerous thing, for that amount of time they are granted powers they are free. They are free of the judgement, they are no longer humans. They could burn down a town while a angel, but once human no punishment can be done. A angel have to be punished, not a human...
