the world was wonderful as a child, full of life , but then came the wars.  The wars caused distruction, and death , the wars threw the social system into wreckeg. 
with the horror the wars caused , socitey decided it was time to take things into their  own hands. They created the blood trials.
Every month they take a group of teenagers age 16, and test them. Test there blood, for traces of what they like to call Behomothstly. Non Human blood.
Every month a few teens come up with it in their bloodstream.
