Citrus fan fiction for those who are obsessed.
Yuzu loves Mei and Mei left to persue her dreams through her marriage. Giving into her grandfathers demands, but is it what Mei really wants? Or will she be able to stand up for her true love, and fight to get Yuzu back? This is based after chapter 36 because it broke all of our hearts and we all need a little more I should think.
First ever time trying to write a fan fiction, any suggestions to better it please feel free? just wanted to give it a try. It will get mature later on if I continue ( more than likely anyway ?)

Mei and Yuzu finally admit that they love each other. And their commitment to their love and relationship has never been better, but they're still learning. But during this time, in order to prove that Mei can handle business affairs, her grandfather sends her to a business conference in California as a test. But when a small problem occurs, Yuzu volunteers to accompany Mei to help out. As they travel together, Mei encounters problems within the business world while Yuzu is making mistakes while trying to help, which caused problems between them personally. Doubts start to affect them, especially towards each other. Can the two young lovers work together to complete Mei's tasks? Will this trip damage their relationship? Or will it make their love stronger? - - - - - - - - - - - Authors note: this story takes place sometime after the end of the manga "Citrus" chapter 41 AND the sequel manga "Citrus Plus", chapter 6....... You know, after Mei finally admitted to Yuzu that she loved her. - - - - - - - - - - - Mei and Yuzu love each other. That's for certain, no question. But this is a story more about trust. We know that we can trust someone to love and support us, but that doesn't always mean that we can trust the same person to make the car payment on time OR to always be careful with what they might say to people. A long form Citrus/Citrus+ fanfiction that aims to cover various stories from different points in time, different characters and surprising developments for the cast of Citrus. There will be drama. There will be laughs. There will be developing relationships... but will Mei and Yuzu finally reach the next stage? Opening with a story of Mei and Yuzu's early university days, we follow Mei's point of view as she faces a whole new experience: Not being the top dog. Without the protection of Aihara Academy and the assured social status that brings, Mei finds herself feeling exposed, having to navigate social situations many people take for granted. This first features mainly Mei's POV. I've done my best to write Mei as I see her, being someone who is quietly very contemplative inwardly, all so she give short and to the point answers. Being somewhat uncomfortable with conversations, I imagine she might have a lot of personal challenges and I wanted to draw them out. Will Mei be able to make friends without incident? Do the members of the Aihara board of directors still have a ship on their shoulder for "The Heretical Witch"? Is Yuzu a serious student who can continue to dedicate herself to her studies for the sake of love? Well, you'll just have to read and find out! (Parts of this story have been planned and brainstorm way ahead of time. If the chapters of Citrus+, post July 2025, contradict anything written herein, just go with it lol!)
