re·sump·tion /rəˈzəm(p)SH(ə)n/ noun The action of beginning something again after a pause or interruption. Rap artist Braxton (Bax) comes to a crossroads when he is on his last strike with his record label. Born and raised in Detroit, Braxton has had difficulty severing his ties with the lifestyle and mentality he gained before breaking into the mainstream music industry. After he and his friend are caught in the car with an unregistered weapon, he is arrested and faced with an ultimatum with his record label and management: while he is on probation, either take time to pause and evaluate how to better himself or keep doing what he has been doing and he will lose everything. Anais Golden is America's television sweetheart. She has been acting since she was 12 years old; now that she is 24, she is ready for change. She desires to transition her acting career to an R&B music career, but the industry won't take her seriously because of her image. When Anais pauses to evaluate whether she is ready to break down the barriers in her cookie-cutter career, she has a proposition from rap artist Bax that shakes both of their careers.

When problems with Riley's family interfere with her relationship with Clay, the two of them have to fight for their love. Will they be able to make it out alive? Find out in Hazel Eyes and Peaches.
