THE PURSUIT OF FREEDOM

"You understand the essence of something when you are deprived of it."
Freedom meant nothing to me initially in my life, but with the passage of time in my freedom-deprived country, I eventually developed an understanding of the necessity of freedom. I developed the very critical thinking to advocate against unjustified autocratic practices which were forcefully compelled on us. Life had an altogether different meaning for me in my motherland, Arstotzka. I found myself trapped in an endless cave, yearning to find an escape. I am Luka Romanovich, and this is my story.
