(This is lightly based off the tv show Shadowhunters, and the Mortal Instrument series. There are some similarities, but I am following my own story path and hope you give it a chance.)

Harry is an immortal warlock. He knows all there is to know, seen the world he helped create and later helped tear down. He's known the richest of men, and the poorest of people. He's seen wars bloodier than you can imagine, and has taken more life's than he can count. But still held within the confines of his rib cage, set a golden heart, thumping away and refusing to become tainted by the world.

Louis Tomlinson could see that, even as a simple mortal. But maybe there's more to the story than just immortal and Mortals? Maybe we shouldn't focus on the death that is bound to happen, but rather the life they both try to live.

In this, people fall in love.

It's just, maybe ones more in love with life than he lets on to be? And maybe one is scared of giving up his fantasy and facing reality.

--

Everybody was so focused on the flashing lights, the thumping music people timed with their grinds against their partners, that they didn't see him. He was dressed in a black suit, light catching it and making the suit sparkle, appearing as if hundreds of shards of glass clung to the material. His brown curls hung around his shoulders, the flower crown I'd last seen missing. He was looking for someone, or something, and when I moved around a swaying body, green eyes found mine.

I'd been spotted.

And thank god, because I was tired of searching.

This happens after the city of heavenly fire.(In the Mortal Instruments series) She walks in gracefully and says with so much venom, that I flinch, "Sit down and listen." I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me. I am completely perplexed. She must have seen it on my face because she says, "You killed Jonathan Morgenstern when all he did was love you. I HATE YOU. If you weren't there he would have loved me. Now I will take your loved ones away from you." I am just about to reply when she sends electrifying green sparks towards me which make me lose consciousness. When I finally up she says, "I have cursed you. When you leave this house it will be the day of your sixteenth birthday again but this time Simon won't remember you and neither will your other friends especially your lover, Jace. If you get close to them then they will all die after a year. No other warlock can reverse this spell." Clary gets cursed one night by a certain vengeful warlock. That one night turns her whole world upside down. She has no one to trust, to depend on, to love. Will she survive this like she survived everything else or will she lose herself along the way? On top of that horrible sundae of a life there's a cherry of danger to top it off. More and more problems pile up on her plate and she is burdened with all of it. As usual she has to vanquish evil and save the world. Can she do it? Does love really conquer all and survive through the worst of odds? Read to find out!

Some say that you have a destiny, a destiny that no matter how hard you may try, you can't escape. What's written is written and there is no avoiding it. The Craftsmen have always been a powerful family, but Elizabeth never wanted the power. After hardship after hardship, she just wanted a normal, Mundane life and to forget about her past completely. After having her Runes removed at eighteen, she goes on and tries to live the life she's craved. A life free of danger, free of demons and free of anything that has to do with the Shadow World. But, as always, her past catches up with her in the form of an old friend with golden eyes and golden hair. After saving her life from an unexpected demon attack, he delivers a frightening message to her. A message that would change her future and the path she's taken. She was once a strong fighter, feared by some and respected by most. Now, she must regain the edge she once had in order to save humanity and people of her kind. With help from trusted allies, she rejoins the Nephilim's temporarily in order to stop Aspen Wolf, a powerful Warlock with the will of destroying all that stands between him and taking over Idris. Being the only one left of her kind, the only Craftsmen that could be found, she knows that no matter how badly she wanted a normal life, she'll never have one. She struggles back and forth between coming back as a Shadowhunter or continuing to try and live a normal life. It's would be an easy choice for it, if it wasn't for the man with the golden eyes. .... Cover art credit goes to myself.

The world is dying. Heaven and Hell have broken and collapsed, creating a post-apocalyptic landscape that is part purgatory, part platonic world of ideas, blighted by the horrors of the human mind. The sun lies dormant in the east, atop God's tower, while the west is plunged into darkness and haunted by all that lives there. There is no day and night cycle, nothing grows, nothing dies, nothing changes, unless magic is involved. Angels hunt creatures for their blood, to feed it to God so he can finish gestating. Demons kill and destroy aimlessly, their origins inexplicable and unknown. Stranger beings wander the ruins of what's left of the world. Humans need not eat or sleep, caught in a state between life and death. They cannot die or be born naturally, but they can be killed and they can be made. The few that survived with their sanity somewhat intact have locked themselves into warded cities, but their protections are feeble and often ineffective. The Order that united them is long gone, broken into factions known only by the sins for which they have fallen. The Houses that protected them are crumbling, falling into ruin as their members were culled down by angels and demons, as well as their own mad quest to save the world; the Pilgrimage, a vain attempt to steal into Eden and murder God himself. Soon, only the Scions will remain. Those that were left not due to merit, but because they were the last choice for being heroes. Those whose memories and minds are as damaged and eaten through as their world. Those who agreed to take on the mysterious Archons within their bodies and, through that contract, had ancient relics and rituals passed down to them. They converge onto a long forgotten neutral ground, trying to save themselves. A heroic journey through a nightmarish wonderland. A pilgrimage to God's tower, to make the world whole again. To cleanse the world of the horrors infecting it. To kill the God who will doom them all with his birth.

A land of shadows, of mystery, of obfuscated Truth. Welcome to the Greylands, that strange world, within the bounds of Time, peopled by mortal men. We cannot see truly, only as through a glass, darkly. There are things that move and have their being completely beyond our ability to perceive them. There are things beyond our mortal ability to comprehend. There are hints and glimmers hidden within the body of revealed Truth, but there is much we do not know, cannot yet understand, and could never dare dream. These stories are mere fancy, with a seed of Truth at their core. They play with the ideas of mortality and Eternity, Time and things beyond it, and of course the epic battle of Good against Evil. Each stands alone, and though there are common themes, threads, names, and concepts, each story is an entity unto itself and should not be seen as occurring in the same world or mistaken for installments of a series. These are random musings, not Gospel Truth, and should not be taken as such. Joy, hope, and encouragement are hopefully a byproduct, but certainly not sound Theology. If you would know more of the true world beyond these Greylands, one must be a careful student of the Scriptures, not of silly stories such as these. While still fairytales, these stories are set in modern surroundings rather than the land of Faerie! Each story is unique unto itself, and doesn't reference any other story, world or character elsewhere.

(LGBTQ+ fantasy) This is book 2 of The ShadowHunter Series. Please go read book 1 (The ShadowHunter) first!!!! This book won't make sense if you don't. A terrible accident has torn Eclipse out of her dimension and trapped her in another. It was never meant to happen, yet it did. But now Eclipse has to complete her trial, and prove herself worthy of returning to her own dimension. But there's one big problem: She's fading fast. She won't ever be able to go back home if she fades away completely. So now there's a time limit. Will she be able to complete her quest and return home to those she loves? Or will she be too late and lose everything she thought she had? She just needs to follow the path of her blood and face her past. But how can she do that when she's suddenly thrown into a land in the middle of an ancient and vicious war and is now a prisoner? What if she can't survive this, after all that she's been through? 4% death 1% LGBTQ+ 60% random quest 6% StarClan rip-off 11% Wings of Fire tribes 10% time travel 4% fantasy 2% magic 2% creativity This story includes tribes from Tui T. Sutherland's Wings of Fire series. I do not own them. This also has nothing to do with that show/story idk about shadowhunters; I didn't know that existed.
