Life was pretty simple for Erik. He explored the coast with his bike, listened to his record collection, spent his afternoons with his two best friends and tried his best to avoid his slightly weird family. His biggest problems were Biology exams and not telling his crush that he had a crush on her. Or they were until his grandma decides to tell him the story of their family, a story about sirens, quite unnecessarily and completely out of the blue, thank you so much, grandma. Because life has suddenly become not at all simple, pretty chaotic and definitely crazy, again, thank you, grandma.
He wished he could have remained blissfully ignorant, because he had a very bad feeling about this whole siren business and the suspicion that a major headache was on its way.
When Jay starts acting suspicious, Sunghoon has no other choice but to follow him and discover his secrets. Except his not really good at following him, but he may just find something else on the way. Something that'll make him reconsider the arrangement his parents made for him.
Alternatively: Sunghoon just wanted to find out why Jay was suddenly so protective of humans, and he'll get his very own reason to share his opinion.
