While in the woods near her kingdom she finds a mysterious portal to another world foreign to her. When she decides to go through it she runs into her estranged mother who tries to help her fit in but a rebel angel sees through her little rouse and starts to fall in love with her and soon she returns his affections with plans to marry him, however their plans are cut short when Tulila is discovered by the council and is sentenced to death. After her death, the rebel angel turns to darkness to cope with the loss but can't seem to shake the memories of seeing his true love die in his arms for the pettiest of reasons loose. He realizes soon after that even in death the loved ones we lose will be with us forever.
