After the Overlord's defeat, Ninjago goes into a long time of peace and redevelopment. All kinds of new innovation is born, created by the ingenious inventor Cyrus Borg. For people like the Ninja, it's a lot to take in.

But like most modern technology, it was too bleeding edge. Things went wrong, and, well, the enemy that they once thought was defunct is now back and greedy for victory.

With Lloyd and Scarlett being hunted down, the Ninja find themselves forced to split up. Those two, along with some new weapons, must be protected at all costs.

The Overlord won't give up. Unfortunately, a big sacrifice might be what it takes to stop him and once again save their city.
