I'd been Alexander's best friend since he transferred here in freshman year. Only one year afterwards, Thomas Jefferson, the son of a rich businessman, came into our lives. I was a little jealous of how the two began to grow so close, so I spread a few rumours. They were all entirely true, by the way.
