It was like we were playing a sick game of chess, trying to guess each others movement's and at the same time, worrying about our own. After Harvard, it grows into an increasingly more troubling task for Madeline to discern fantasy from reality. She decides to voluntarily admit herself into a mental hospital when it becomes too stressful for her to live in the outside world. This book follows Madeline and her experiences of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and the psych ward. It is told as a third-person narrative. (This is book 1 of a 2-book series.
