In the year 2012, a group of evil space aliens known as the Dreadconians went to Earth in order to make it a part of their huge intergalactic Dreadconian Empire. The Earth Defense Squadron chose 5 skilled young men and women in order to halt the evil ambition of the Dreadconian Empire. They came to be known as the Earth Defense Squadron Volt Rangers.
