The Moon colonists watch in fear as an asteroid, far larger than the one that wiped out the dinosaurs 66 million years ago, plummets towards the Earth.

The collision leaves the planet blackened and lifeless.

Can the colonists survive their sudden enforced independence? And is the Earth as dead as it appears?

Earth has just overcome a cataclysm, Mars has undergone an uprising, the colonies across other stars are gone. Only Sol has shined forever. The focus shifts to the moons of Saturn, and those who reside there. Colonized eons ago from select groups of settlers from Earth and Mars, the six inhabited moons of Iedra, Feirro, Eympas, Alrotha, Torhindred, Titan, and Lyriptus- formerly entitled Enceladus, Mimas, Tethys, Dione, Rhea, Titan, and Iapetus- each stand alone, in a perpetual feud started long ago. Some care not at all for the others one way or another. Some are too weak to meddle in the affairs of their neighbors. Some are so strong they are feared. I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. She was put into cryogenic sleep, expected to witness a greener and wiser world. But when she wake, she found herself at a dump, naked and cold. The air was thick with pollution, and malice at sight. After escaping from danger, she held the next person she met at gunpoint; a mysterious, handsome hybrid. Unbeknownst to Eve, Earth was no longer what she once knew. She soon learnt the truth behind the assignment. Left with no other option, she put her trust on Kael to fulfil her mission.
