From the room upstairs that was led from the small metal ladder in the corner of the room, stood Heath Rochills. His body slightly bent to the rail, looking down on the room and everything that had happened in the last couple of minutes.

He eyed the girl still sitting on her chair, not making any movement, but he didn't see any changes in her posture for another minute.

Until she lifts her hand and slowly run it through her black hair and stands up. She puts away the chair behind an empty desk, where it mostly belonged to in the first place.

She quickly looks around her but not realizing that the room led to another one upstairs, she lets out a small chuckle full of what seemed like amusement.

Heath double-checked to see if he had just imagined the sound coming from the girl in the empty room but sure enough, no one else was there with them. The light sound of her laugh definitely came from her.

Surely, I imagined it.

But as Melia walked up to the door he saw a faint smirk on her face that made him unsure for the first time, her smirk was small but definitely there.

After a second of reflection, a smirk ran across his face matching the one he saw on Melia's moments ago.

Heath understood at that moment that Melia Truth had just played on the ice-queen Giana Pandurez and her minions. And she was enjoying it, big time.

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Then again who would leave him alone he is S-E-X-Y!" I laughed. "I am going to love being your friend." I said while I looked back to where he had headed a while ago, but I no longer saw him. I sighed disappointed.

Stephanie Walker - straight-A student, sweet, pretty, and every parent's dream. Her life is perfectly planned out... until her senior year trip throws her into the chaotic orbit of the school's golden boy. Now her final year in high school isn't looking so simple. "Don't let me catch you, cupcake," his voice boomed from downstairs, and I took off running. I ducked behind a pole, heart racing, trying to calm my nerves. Way to go, Stephanie, my subconscious snarked. His footsteps echoed closer. "Where are you, cupcake?" he called out playfully. Like I'd actually tell you, I thought, holding my breath. Silence. Then, warm fingers snaked around my waist, and I didn't need to turn to know it was him. "Found you," he whispered in my ear, and a shiver zipped down my spine. "How?" I breathed, turning to face him. His smirk told me he knew exactly what he was doing to me. Get it together, fool, I mentally scolded myself. "Want the sugarcoated version or the truth?" he teased. I raised a brow at him. "I could smell you from a mile away," he whispered, tucking a lock of hair behind my ear. Butterflies. So many freaking butterflies. "That was the sugarcoated version," he added with a grin. I blinked, narrowing my eyes. "The pole didn't hide you well. Your cardigan was sticking out," he shrugged. And then came the smirk. "Now, time for my revenge." I barely had time to process before something soft and powdery rained down on me. I wiped my face. Flour. He did not just dump flour on me even if I started it. Mature, much? I thought bitterly. Poker face on. "Real mature," I said, brushing past him with fake annoyance. Time to activate drama mode. "Come on, babe, you can't be mad..." he called after me. This book is everything. You NEED to read this.

BOOK 2 OF 3 Sequel to Tell Me The Truth - "Violet, I need to tell you something." Phoebe mumbles somewhat nervously. "Can it wait?" "Not really, it's about who-" "Fuck, I don't have time, I'm sorry!" I take everything from her hands and the doorman opens the door to the building for me with a big smile. I don't so much as glance around on the way to the elevator. Usually I would take my time studying the current interior and grade them in my head, but I actually have no time for any of that. I tap my foot impatiently in the elevator and straighten out everything in my hands while I head up to the fortieth floor. I watch the numbers move up achingly slow and barely wait for the doors to open before I slip through them. I head down the hall and see an open door that leads to a big office space. When I enter, I'm immediately met with a warm smile from the receptionist. I exhale heavily and smile back. "Violet Parker?" She asks and I nod my head, still trying to catch my breath. "Sorry I'm late." "You're right on time." She stands from her desk and leads me toward the conference room in the middle of different offices and cubicles. She opens the door and gestures for me to step through. The chatter from the men in the room dies down when I enter and I barely look up at them, just trying to get my stuff on the table before I drop any of it. "I apologize for not being here sooner, I see you started without me." I say with a smile. "Not at all, you can't start the show without the star." A friendly sounding older gentleman says and I smile wider, turning on the charm, and finally look up to assess the room of men in front of me. I lift my head to look toward the end of the table and everything stills. My eyes lock with a very familiar pair of green ones and I feel the color drain from my face as everything around me turns into white noise. [COMPLETE] Sorry this may be cringe, it was written very long ago A seemingly ordinary, working college girl meets a cool, undeniably sexy boy with millions of followers at his feet. How will their completely different lives allow, or prevent them from getting what they want? Expect some drama, flirty lines, steamy scenes, funny best friends, and perhaps, an overall epic love connection. ~ Carter came around the corner as his eyes darkened with a predatory gaze. Oh no. He took a step forward, minimalizing the distance with every dominating stride, as I froze in my spot. My breath hitched as his arms finally encircled my waist and his eyes locked with mine. In one swift motion, he flipped my body so my back was pressed against his chest and hands gripped the curve of my hips. "What game are you trying to play at Valerie?" he spoke in a husky voice. Goosebumps danced along my skin as his hot breath fanned against the shell of my ear and his fingertips lit a trail of blazing heat along the length of my arm. Mentally shaking myself from the trance of that which is Carter Bryson, I tilted my head towards him and whispered; "One where you'll lose." Quickly escaping his hold on me before the tension became unbearable, I spun on my heel to face him and slowly backed away towards the exit. "Good luck though." I added mischievously. With a smirk and a devilish glint in his eyes that could even give hell a run for its money, he replied; "I'm not a player though, baby. I'm the gamemaker." ~ ❗️Mature content.
