Synopsis -
Hunter's long-time girlfriend Hailey leaves him and moves away from Nashville with her new boyfriend, so Hunter, beside himself with rage and a broken heart, moves into a new house, next to a middle-aged man named Tim and his nephew Rhys. Tim helps Hunter figure out his anger towards God and his sadness due to losing Hailey while dealing with Rhys, who is a moody teenager who shuts out God and everyone else. Meanwhile, Hunter's best friend Colin introduces him to a new crowd of friends, including a girl named Maya.
Hunter wrestles with whether or not to forgive God and get over Hailey while doing his best to reach out to Rhys. Colin pressures Hunter to pursue Maya, but Hunter doesn't think he's ready for another relationship.
