Tellus; A Fatal Deception (Previously called The Demon's Gaze) is about an adventuring party of the small Guild Brightscars; who must defeat a demon that lie hidden inside an unknown dungeon, little do they know, they are all being manipulated into serving the demons plans. 
This is a fantasy short story consisting of five parts in a fantasy setting, based in my own works of the unreleased novel Tellus, with battles and magic being at it's core with a bit of mystery and exploration.  (This is my first published short story I have written and made public. Please leave a comment on what you think of my first ever release.) This is the first draft of the story, I know it isn't my best work and I am improving. Don't they prefer to travel on their own?" "Fae," he corrected as he pulled a pipe out of thin air. A black wisp of smoke surrounded his hand as he did so. "But yes, we do. I, however, have had enough of my thoughts being my only company." I nodded. "So?" He raised his eyebrows. I shook my head sadly. "This is something I need to do. Alone." "Alright." He looked a bit disappointed, which was odd, considering we had just met. ' What happens when you're going to kill the Unnamed One and meet a mysterious fae on your journey? Do you trust him, or leave him? And what do you do when you find out what he's been hiding? Iowyn Aedithas is on a quest to save her guild. A quest that could potentially be lethal for her.
