When the Hidden Leaf receives a distress message from an Ancient Village and are asked to provide assistance if willing they accept and send some of their best Ninja to scope out the scene. 

When they arrive however a horrific site awaits them. The Village in ruin and people seeming to be frozen in ash forms living their final moments stood before the Leaf Nin. 

One Ninja in particular finds  what seemed to be a child, the only survivor of the village. The Ninja carry the child back to the Hidden Leaf.....
