Elizabeth Marie Rogers is the sister of Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America. She was taken by Hydra right after Steve went in the ice. She doesn't remember any of this. Now that she is free, her memory starts to return. She remembers Steve, being taken by Hydra, she even remembers the love of her life and his funeral. She realizes that the Winter Soldier is Bucky, the love of her life. She has to save him, I mean she does owe him her life. She turns to the last people she wants to, the Avengers. The Avengers don't know if they should help her, since they just finished Ultron and since she is a highly-trained, world-known, Grade A assassian. Steve begs them to help. They agree but don't trust her. They save Bucky and see who he was and who she was. They then ask them to join the Avengers. Bucky declines the offer, wanting to live a normal life, but Elizabeth doesn't know if she should join her her brother, fighting evil with her unnatural powers, or stay with Bucky, living a sort of normal life. Who will she choose? She loves them both and doesn't want to leave them. She can't decide, but with this Civil War, she won't have to. Tony doesn't want to work with her, but Steve still wants her help. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This book takes place after Age of Ultron and goes into Civil War. Over his earpiece, the other Avengers are able to offer Captain scrambled bits of information they've all gathered about this mysterious creature, referred to as simply "Girl." But when she's brought back to the Avenger's Headquarter's to be further investigated, he finds out that there's much more to this little girl's story than anyone had initially imagined. With the seemingly complete elimination of Hydra, the heroic group are offered more freedom and time to make real lives for themselves. But Steve Rogers has formed a soft spot for a certain fellow ex-test subject. Along with the help of his friends, will he be able to help Girl heal and find hope for her future? Elizabeth Maeve Barnes is the younger sister of James Buchanan Barnes, better known as Bucky to his 17-year-old sister and best friend, Steve Rogers. For her, she has aspired to be a soldier like the two young men but being a girl in the 1940s who was only seen fit to live at home and make a man happy, her dream seemed ludicrous. But, that changed after her long-time crush became Captain America and her brother died. She was recruited to stop Hitler with Steve before he disappeared into the ice. She didn't know what to do after until Peggy Carter told her she could take a replica super-soldier serum but with the price of being preserved in ice overtime and only allowed out to complete missions for S.H.E.I.L.D. Or so, that's what she thought. Fast forward to 66 years later and she is let out for the thirteenth time to ease the found alive Steve. Their old feelings for each other begin to rekindle as they face the many enemies of the world with The Avengers and discover something they thought they lost a long time ago. DISCLAIMER: I do not own the MCU characters, only Elizabeth Maeve Barnes.
