Eight celestial faeries are cursed to live as nearly-human young women in an old historic city. Each is left with one super power, a remnant of her faerie magic. They contend with creatures of magic and creatures of science (made of nanobots) as they try to regain the object that will enable them to return back home. Along the way they learn that together their remnant magic is more versatile beyond one super power per girl.
