Regina Fyre has always been on her own. Sure there were other people, but only two other people knew her secret, and they were the ones who forced it upon her. But things are changing. Now someone knows. Her act of mercy is coming back to bite her and there is nothing to do but flee Inan, all she has ever known, and retreat into the forested country of Silvari where, if she is lucky, she just might be safe.
But things are not as expected in Silvari. She didn't expect to meet a girl named Filia, or to become her friend. Suddenly everything begins to change and Regina's life will never be the same as she starts down a path that changes her life forever. Soon she must make a choice to go back to the life she knew or live one she never could have imagined. Whatever she decides, Fyre will face pain, loss, and utter joy unlike any she has ever known.
