Del Santoro, a 19 year old stuck in the middle of everything. Thrown into all of the chaos from the very first stage. A practical, fact of the matter person trying her best to survive in humanities extinction event. One of the most unlikely people to have survived this long.

With no one left but her brother, she's becoming too easily trusting of the other survivors. And too reckless and blissfully unaware of the things that lurk in the shadows. 

Two thirds of humanity are gone. Even more are being slowly picked off, one by one. The odds are against them. But will they pull through?

The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all. The very one that modern Human civilization is now built on. Alice and her boyfriend accepted a posting on the famous and ancient ship, the U.S.S.A Umbra.

These caves aren't ordinary caves, and they are no safer down under than they were on the surface.
