Things happen for a reason, and Rowen has spent her life all too aware of that fact. After spending 10 years to become a doctor to support her passion for nannying and babysitting, she finally gets to meet her first client. Her personal life maybe dissolving around her, but her professional life is just taking off at supersonic speeds.

Rowen never expected the different aspects of her life to converge in the ways they do when she meets and is contracted for her first client.

Garret is a solitary man, uncomfortable around everyone- especially women. A divorcee with twin sons, he struggled to do the right thing and hire someone to help him. A slew of interviews discouraged him before his agency came to him with someone different. Someone with a doctorate in pediatrics.

When Rowen's gentle, need-to-please, and determined nature melds with Garret's strong sense of what's right and wrong, she suddenly finds herself in danger of growing attached to someone other than his two small sons.
