The Chosen

Some people spend their entire life being nothing but ordinary, never truly amounting to anything worth writing tales about. Other people spend their entire lives being favored by the Gods, they have been handpicked to accomplish things that others could only dream off.

Morgan Daniels was comfortable with the idea of being ordinary, she reveled in the fact that nothing in her life will change. That yesterday was the same as today, and today will be the same as tomorrow.

That is until she picks up an extra shift at the diner, and a man sits in the booth on the far right corner of the little restaurant. He looks up at her with eyes deep enough to stand in, and Morgan's life will never be the same.
