And she has to choose from the new mysterious hunk of a vampire named Damon Carpathian. who she was drawn to for no apparent reason and Elena comes to find a secret that will change her whole perspective on her best friend and soon enough Elena falls in love with Damon and can't get him out of her head and things get tough when Damon has another girlfriend and he sees Elena hurt because of it and that's when things change dramatically and one surprise you'll never see coming!
