Have you ever seen someone put on a mask? Not the mask that you put on for a celebration or party but the mask that you put up to hide the truth of what is actually happen. Some people are afraid of being seen who they are truly are. They are afraid of seeing their selves for who they really are. They are afraid of confronting the truth, so they avoid facing fear by hiding.
Meet Ayalisse Stone who deals with alcoholic and abusive father. She has to protect her sister Aileen from him or she might get the same treatment as she does herself. Her best friend Nathan Archer helps her with everything such as taking care of her sister, bullying, suicide attempts, cutting, etc. But Ayalisse manage to hide in the abuse of her father from Nathan and securing her sister for him.
Nathan has been friends with Ayalisse for years. Yeah, he may be a jock and popular but he always puts Ayalisse first before anyone else. He cares for her very much that he hates to see her though pain generally every day. Nathan had been noticing frequently marks on her body but every time he ask about them she make up an excuse such as "I fell down stairs", " I wasn't looking and trip over my foot" , or "I walk into a pole" but he knew that she lying because she's don't make eye connection or she change the subject.
So what happens when everything start to unfold Ayalisse darkest secret? So what will if her best friend Nathan Archer left for three months? Will the abuse get much worst then it already? Will Nathan find out or not? Will he feel the same? Will Ayalisse and her sister be capable of escaping their dad?
