Then Vivian, the entitled one who even though had a loving family and supportive friends, felt lonely. Then Lex, the brains of the group who left others in awe of her abilities. She never did believe that she was smart enough. Lastly Axel, the guy who tried so hard to fit into society. Everyone treated him different due to his burn marks on the left side of his face.

Octaveus was depressed. He knew it, but no one else did. He hid it, just as he hid his scars. He wasn't human either; he hid that too. He hid almost everything about himself from everyone, in order to minimize the ridicule. His mental state, his thoughts, his scars, even his questionable sexuality. But that only fed into his sadness. Drew was insecure. He didn't like standing up for himself in fear of saying something wrong. He didn't even change in the main locker room for PE, he went in the stalls. He was anxious. He wanted to know what was happening and when so that he can prepare for all possible outcomes of that event. And he was gay; his family knew and supported him, but no one else knew. He was too scared of how they would react to tell them. Jessie knew his brother would be teased. It was really a fact. Humanity wasn't too good at accepting of different beings. No matter how human Octaveus made himself look, he couldn't hide his unnaturally pale skin that no matter how hard he tried would not tan or his yellow cat eyes. He just had to try to fit in, same as the rest of their family. Seth was the school bad boy, and secret werewolf. His hobbies included pushing around the Freshman, flirting relentlessly with any and every attractive popular girl in sight, and trying not to think about Octaveus. He didn't want other people to find out about his thoughts on the emo new kid. So, naturally, he made Octaveus's school day a living hell. Coming from money does not guarantee you happiness, and so the secrets about her home life were shipped off to Saint Ambrose along with her, out of sight out of mind. However, she is hated by her peers, and mercilessly bullied as a result, but she doesn't seem phased. This earns her the title of Ice princess. Enzo De La Rosa has it all, he comes from good home life, he's popular, good-looking, and loved by all who meet him. Yet still, he struggles with his mental health behind the golden "bad boy" facade he endures for appearances. The Salvatore brothers, Matteo and Angelo are struggling to keep the effects of their home life from mixing with their school life. Matteo has a temper, and Angel has a strong sense of protector. Neither are above hurting the Ice Princess. Cassia Russo the meanest girl on campus, is by far the biggest hater of Nova. But does she have a reason? Lia Amherst the campus sweetheart, she'd never hurt a fly, yet her hands aren't clean of Nova's pain either..
