Adelle Montgomery has been completely ordinary her whole life. She lives in a small collage town and can't say she has actually done anything memorable. But when a gorgeous stranger walks into her history class one fateful Monday afternoon she doesn't realize how much her world is going to change. Thrown into the world of time travel and age old feuds, along with the danger of falling helplessly in love, Adelle has to embrace the fact that she is anything but ordinary.

Weston Payne: meticulous and reckless. Hurdling through life, not pausing to think of the consequences. An Irish Casanova, wooing all the girls, bouncing from one to the next. Life is a game to him, but when his family is ripped away he sees how precious life truly is. Following an ancient urge he sets off to America to satisfy the gapping hole in his soul. Wes lands in wooded Ashland, Oregon with the notion of finding his Soulmate. The one who soothes the grief and fits in his heart like a puzzle piece. But it's not that easy. Caught between the crossfire of finding his brother and protecting his Soulmate from the terrorist band of Time Travelers, Wes has to understand the meaning of sacrifice and if true love really prevails.

----My soul is yours, my heart is yours. I belong to you,; then Wes got this knee buckling look in his eyes. I let my head fall forward and my lips collided with his. Wes drew in a sharp breath and froze. But then broke and thrust his fingers into my hair, drawing me closer and deepening the kiss, making me forget absolutely everything except the feel of his lips on mine and how every breath was shared and oh how the smell of him invaded my senses. My hands threaded through his black curls and his were cupping my face, our lips dancing in the most sensual way. ----

My mate. So weak. So pathetic. I have a weak and pathetic mate. I thought as I looked at her in disgust and displeasure. Just like me when I was human. She is human! I don't want a mate. I don't want a weak and pathetic mate! She can't fix me! She's nothing! Screw this! My thoughts were going berserk with the rushing flashes of my past. I tucked my hand through my hair roughly in an unsuccessful attempt to stop the replay of those horrible evocations. I laid her on the small grass patch at the side of the deserted road. She was half-conscious, so possibly she could hear me... "Hey!" I said, jerking her pale face gently. Blood was covering half of her face but she was still looking beautiful in the moonlight. The sparks weren't going unnoticed and I reminded myself that it was just the mate-bond. I was determined in my decision and there was no way I was going to change it. The girl opened her eyes slightly and with that, I did what I thought was right at that time. "I, Kane Wilson, reject you as my mate!" I said, with all the strength I could have mustered in my miserable state of emotions and with that, I left her there, feeling extreme pain in my heart. But I pushed that pain aside and ran from there in my ultimate inhuman speed. Away from her! Still feeling the Rejection Pain. *~*~*~*~*~*~* He rejected her when she didn't even know what he meant for her. And after nine years, when he met her again, he found himself craving for her, seeking her attention, her love. He had fallen for her... with no return. But would she accept him now?! "I've been burned once, who is to say it will not happen again" I spoke quietly watching her closely. Grace confused me like no other she wormed her way into my heart with her easy-going smiles, kind nature, and gentle heart. Feeling her small hands hold my large ones I glance down into her green eyes "You need to trust that I am not Mia have I not proven to you Cassian, I am here to stay you fit with me" she said in a gentle yet firm tone. The smile she sent me held love, comfort and that was all it took after months of breaking down the walls I decided to take a leap of faith. *********************************************** Cassian Grey had been burned once and that was enough for him after sharing a business deal with his four other brothers they opened up The Grey Gull on the coast of Cornwall, England. A fresh start is what these guys needed and a fresh start is what they will get. Grace Bauer is an art historian with her own little gallery where she brings long-forgotten pieces of beauty back to life. She too had been burned so when she hears of this bar and grill opening up she knows her friends are just dying to try it out. What both of these souls don't realize is that once thrown in each other's paths they soon realize that maybe just maybe they are what the other half needs in one another. It may take a little more convincing on Cassian's part but can he take that leap of faith and trust Grace.
